Events this Saturday April 15th

Community Easter Egg Dash at Idlewild Park -  Starting at 12 p.m The Bridge Church and the Boys & Girls Club will be hosting and Easter egg dash for kids all the way up to 6th grade. There will be fun games, prizes, bounce houses, and over 30,000 candy-filled eggs. There will be a non-perishable food drive, food collected will be distributed by The Bridge Food Pantry, benefiting needy families in our community. (775) 323-7141.

Easter Egg Dash - Starting at 9 a.m. the Hope Community of Reno will be hosting a free easter egg dash at Comstock Park, 1650 Carat Drive (at Double Diamond Parkway) in south Reno. For more information, call (775) 284-4673.

 

The Great Egg Race - From 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. LifeChurch will be sponsoring the Great Egg Race at Damonte Ranch High School (10500 Rio Wrangler Parkway)! This event will feature 50,000 eggs stuffed with candy and prizes, bounce houses, face-painting, pony rides, a climbing wall, snacks and the Easter bunny himself will be there for a photo opt. For more information, call (775) 852-3833.

Sparks Nazarene Church Community Easter Egg Hunt - From  9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Oppio Park (2355 18th Street in Sparks) the Sparks Nazarene Church will be hosting a community Easter egg hunt. There will be games, inflatables, refreshments, and plenty of prizes. For more information, call (775) 358-4066.

Easter Egg Hunt at Washoe Lake State Park - From 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. the South Valley Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an Easter egg hunt at Washoe Lake State Park (4855 East Lake Blvd.) Look for signs to the event off of the freeway exit and expect to see the Easter Bunny hopping around the park for the kids to enjoy. Easter Bunny Photos at the Reno Town Mall - From 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.  Make sure to bring your kids to the Reno Town Mall (4001 S. Virginia St.) to get their pictures taken with the Easter bunny. It is free to meet and greet the Easter bunny, but there is a fee to get your picture taken. 

Annual Cotton Tails Easter Celebration at Mormon Station State Historic Park - From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. come out to Mormon Station Historic Park (2295 Main St. Genoa, NN 89411) for a pancake brunch, followed by an Easter egg hunt, games, face-painting, a photo booth and plenty more. There will be a local arts and crafts farmer's market, featuring a variety of unique, handmade items. Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $15.00 for the adult brunch, $12.00 for child brunch, and $10.00 for the Easter egg hunt. For more information call (775) 901-0567.
